4.  Establish a support mechanism for the community and voluntary    representatives who have been nominated on to various      committees at county and regional level.  
5.  Identify training needs.  
6.  Support the development of a regional netText Box: The Kerry County Community & Voluntary Forum was              established over three years ago.  It is representative of over 450 community and voluntary organisations in Kerry.  The Forum has two representatives on the County Development Board and also nominates to Kerry County Council’s Strategic Policy Committees, the Regional Drugs Task Force and the Social Inclusion Measures Group of the Board.
The key work priorities for the Forum in 2003 are as follows:
